Purposes and legal bases
The website has no form or account. If you call, email or message us, we use the information and documents you provide to respond, prepare an estimate or carry out the service you requested. This processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or, for general enquiries, our legitimate interest in responding to communications. Loading the optional map is based on your explicit acceptance.
What is stored on your device
The site stores the key kouvaris-map-consent-v1 in localStorage solely to remember whether you accepted or declined the interactive map. It includes your choice and its timestamp, is deleted or renewed after 180 days, and is not used for analytics or advertising. Storing this preference is necessary to apply your choice.
Optional map
The map is enabled only after acceptance. Tiles and data are then loaded from CARTO (basemaps.cartocdn.com and tiles.basemaps.cartocdn.com), which receives technical request details such as your IP address, page referrer and browser. Under the CARTO Basemaps terms, request logs are retained in the USA for 30 days after IP truncation. If you decline the map, these requests are not made. You can withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
Contact and external links
When you email or call us, we use the information you provide to respond to your request. Links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube open those services only when selected. Social profiles and advertising analytics services are not embedded on this website.
Recipients and retention
Your contact details may pass through the email, telephone or messaging provider you choose. Technical map data is sent to CARTO only after acceptance. Enquiry information is retained for as long as needed to handle it and meet any statutory record-keeping obligations. The website does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of processing of your personal data and, where applicable, object or withdraw consent. For requests, contact info@ektelonismos.gr. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
